Wood stabilisation is a process where natural timber is infused with a specialist resin under vacuum and pressure. This resin penetrates deep into the wood’s cellular structure, strengthening it from the inside out. Once cured, the wood becomes far more resistant to moisture, movement, and wear than untreated timber. This process is especially valuable when working with burls, spalted woods, figured timbers, and softer species, which are often visually stunning but naturally fragile.
